compost pile

It is a good thing that macs and pcs don't have sweat glands, because compost piles tend to be a bit smelly. But what a resource for really great soil to grow things in!

So how much work is it to build a compost pile?  As much or as little work as you want to make it.  The more effort that you put into it the faster you will have finished compost.

So what equipment is needed to make a compost pile?  Open, spirit-led minds with little egos and an abundance of passion for purposeful worship parables.

Confused?  Here is a forum, a blog, an international thinkpad for developing worship experiences, worship parables, worship art, sacred space.

Have an idea?  Need it developed?  Has something like this been done before?  What are the challenges?  Hindsight advice?  You are not alone in exploring worship!

Join the discussion or email help! to ask for guidance on a project idea that you are wrestling with.

don't re-invent the wheel

Want to make a difference in your community?  "Be a blessing" "Do a servant project" ?

Start by looking for ways to help someone else who is already making a difference in the community.  True, you and your group might not get recognition, but we don't serve to get recognition, right!?!

Three great reasons for joining another non-profit ministry for servant projects:

1.  Encourages the other ministry, gives them financial and personnel relief, network for greater impact in the community.

2.  Continuity of service to the community, you don't just show up, do your "good deed" and leave.  The community already trusts the ministry that you have chosen to work with, you can hit the ground running.

3.  Keeps you humble!  :)

In Chattanooga, we have partnered with Widow's Harvest, Samaritan Center, Center for Volunteers, Ronald McDonald Charities, Bethel Bible Village, InnerCity Ministries and Bridges.

This Saturday, red, will be partnering again with InnerCity Ministries in Chattanooga for a back-to-school celebration, join us for snow-cones and balloons!

So what are some ministries/non-profits that you have worked with?  Share your story and encourage others with your experience!
